February - March 2020 "Cosmic Clock" - Astrological Forecasts

No matter your Sun Sign – Love is in the Air February through March 2020!

Since astrologers get asked “when am I going to meet Mr. or Ms. Right….and since it’s top of mind around Valentine’s….I’ll go out on a limb and say this is a very favorable time for many people – especially if they are actively looking for new love, or to rekindle old flames!

Your next question might be – will this be long lasting, or not? Those are two separate questions...but a good astrologer will be able to tell you!

While we’re on high alert for NEW love - the past is on our minds about broken hearts, lessons learned, and how we are now older and wiser!

February through March is a time of great transition for us, as we end the Astrological year and begin a new one on the Spring Equinox March 19! There a shared sense of HOPE – and thankfully - hope always “springs eternal”!

Astrology highlights for February and March 2020

Sun in Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) – Friendships and charitable causes are a priority now. We also want to try something far-out and weird – and mix with eccentric types to expand our horizons & explore new ideas!

Full Moon in Leo - Feb. 8-9 Highlights differences in our close relationships vs. our more “impersonal” ties with others. We see we can’t be all things to all people and will look to draw new boundaries. Above all, we want authenticity in our relationships and are likely to establish what we want, need and expect of each other. Even if you end a relationship - it will likely be on friendly terms!

Mercury Retrograde - Feb 16 – Again? Didn’t we just have one? Mercury - the planet that rules our thinking process, schedules, computers, and communication will time travel for us to resurface friends and old charitable causes you thought were gone forever! Is it time to rekindle and pick up some pieces and start fresh? Watch if guilt plays a role in your decision(s), as it becomes a spoiler to muddy the waters.

Sun enters Pisces (Feb 18-March 19) We’re now ending the astrological year and dealing with unresolved issues so we can evolve and move on. There’s a mixed bag of events, feelings and perspectives that creates uncertainty as to what you are going through. It helps to talk to those you trust and get some objectivity and clarity.

Mercury Direct - March 9 – YAY! Today packs an extra punch with the Full Moon (see Full Moon in Virgo below) and we can expect flashes of inspiration that blow your mind! This is a great time to follow your muse and explore new techniques in creative and/or communication endeavors!

Full Moon in Virgo – March 8-9 – We face our guilt and imperfections and the prisons and punishment we inflict on ourselves. Forgiveness for others is often easier than for ourselves and it’s an excellent time to release the past and its chains on your life.

Sun enters Aries/Spring Equinox – March 19 - The Astrological New Year highlights our sense of responsibilities to our self and for others as we set goals and raise the bar on what we have previously achieved and strive to be our best self! We test ourselves and measure results and are likely to compete with others for inspiration…whether they’re aware we are doing that or not!

New Moon in Aries– March 23-24 – A “New You” is emerging and it’s exciting as you tap into aspects of your body, mind and soul that you overlooked before. “Who am I” questions arise and you want answers, and will take action to find them….including spending quiet time to reflect!

Feb.-March. forecasts - for Sun, Moon and Ascendant Signs.  Dear Reader - If you know your Ascendant (a.k.a. Rising Sign), and Moon Sign - read the forecasts below for those signs as well....often, they are more relevant than they are for Sun Sign forecasts!

Aries (March 20 – April 20) You’ve been highly charged and optimistic since the holidays and that enthusiasm continues now. You’re more organized than usual – surprising yourself and others and wondering how long this will last, as you are great at starting projects, but not finishing them! You’re keeping your eye on the prize now and taking steps that instill excitement and feelings that something new is continually happening!

Taurus (April 20 – May 20) Today’s traditional roles for males and females are more blurred, and Taurus likes to keep it simple and never rock the boat. Still, your relationships are demanding a new approach at old arrangements that are not working for them anymore. You’ll be asked to take on roles you think belong to someone else, and the result will be positive and profound for you!

Gemini (May 20 – June 20) Dreams are more intense and troubling now as you know they are trying to tell you something you’d like to avoid if possible. The past is calling to resolve issues that affect current decisions, growth and happiness. Watch your fear of being blamed and carry guilt for someone else’s sins as excuses to sweep issues under the rug. The truth will set you free!

Cancer (June 20 – July 22) Cancer often sees the past as better times than the present, and dwell on memories rather than create new ones – because they might fall short of high expectations! You derive tremendous satisfaction by caring for others and during February and March the opportunities are endless! When you volunteer, watch how your past experiences come into play to be shared (with others) for their lessons, and provide a much healthier way to reminisce!

Leo (July 22 – August 22) Love is always a priority for Leo, and now is when you are extra eager to fill a void in your heart. It’s tempting to look in your list of contacts and see who interests you in trying for a second or third chance (with them). Watch the tendency to compare old and current significant others with a romantic fantasy that leaves you feeling rejected or unappreciated.

Virgo (August 22- September 22) This time of year is often challenging for Virgo Sun, Moon and/or Ascendant signs, and it helps to look at those cycles to get some clarity and objectivity as to why you are so moody now. Chances are you see imperfections magnified at work, home and elsewhere with people, circumstances and systems. Chances are you feel it’s all your fault and you aren’t doing enough. Really?

Libra (September 22 – October 22) As THE people-pleaser of the horoscope, you are wrestling with how and where you often cut yourself short and put others first! You are more angry at yourself for this, and your dilemma is how to change this pattern without feeling ultra-guilty and undeserving. This is a terrific time to recognize inequities you’ve imposed on yourself and take steps to balance those Libra scales!

Scorpio (October 22 – November 20) Your focus is razor sharp on your 2020 goals and your optimism and enthusiasm is showing! Nothing succeeds like success and you have that aura about you now that greatly helps to convince others to support your endeavors. In many ways, you are making your own luck now, but the planets are in your favor, too!

Sagittarius (November 20 – December 20) Wake up – Change – Stabilize – Repeat! That seems to sum up your daily routines since early December, and it settles down mid-February as you’re getting used to this pace and more comfortable with your new normal! Your hard work is paying off and one success leads to another in this cycle. Like Scorpio now, you are making your own luck through hard work.

Capricorn (December 20 – January 19) Fruits of your hard labor in December and January are starting to pay off now to show you are on the right track! It’s a great time to network and get your messages out there in person and social media as people are eager for new ideas – especially if they are grounded in practicality and experience! There’s an old saying about “your time has come” and that is especially true for Capricorn in 2020!

Aquarius (January 19 – February 18) On your mark, get set, GO! Aquarius is on fire now as you take center stage in group situations looking for a leader. No one does it better than you, especially when you feel prepared. The good news is you walk the talk and show people how it’s done. Still, your strength is in mobilizing people – which you are doing now, because your dreams can’t be done alone!

Pisces (February 18 – March 19) As champion to those less fortunate Pisces is called upon to be even more s part of solutions now by taking new and bold actions. This requires sticking your neck out and ruffling feathers, but you are willing to “take one for the team” and get dirty if needed. That’s not likely to happen, but that does not diminish the courage you are showing now to do the right thing!
